Peace River Wildlife Center

Located in Ponce de Leon Park, this shelter is dedicated to nursing sick animals back to health so they can be released in their natural habitat. There is also a boat ramp that leads directly to the Harbor, and a nature walk through the network of mangrove trees that border the Park. Docks for fishing as well as picnic facilities are also available.

Babcock Wilderness Adventures

Travel inland to see a real Florida working ranch, as well as seeing alligators, Florida panthers, cattle, deer and other wildlife. Travel in a swamp buggy and viewa part of this 90,000 acre ranch. Great for families, or anyone who loves the outdoors!

Port Charlotte Town Center

This is the largest enclosed mall in Charlotte County, that features, movie theaters, major department store chains, as well as restaurants. It is located at the intersection of Hwy 41 and SR 776.

Boca Grande/Gasparilla Island

A beautiful barrier island that can be accessed by a toll bridge, and offers great beaches as well as a quaint downtown area with shops and an old train depot! The historic Gasparilla Inn is located here, and a visit inside the old hotel will definitely transport you back in time. Real Estate is extremely pricey and the the island has hosted a number of famous visitors.
